Another addition to our release schedule
by Titta & Franco Cazzola
TFBR025 Waiting For Xing Wang E.p:

Toys For Boys presents the first collaboration between Italian producers Franco Cazzola and Titta, the Destination Unknown EP, three summery tracks that bring old-school house vibes into the future. Cazzola made his production debut last year with the label he co-founded, Carnival Records, and what was both his and the label’s first 12” made it to the ears of Sven Väth who included one track on his Sound of the 10th Season double mix CD. Now Cazzola has teamed up with producer Titta (real name: Giovanni Battista Bogatto), who aside from co-founding netlabel Tonimusic with Hugo, is also an audio designer and soundtrack composer. So you know that something special is in store with their debut partnership!

“Destination Unknown” is the ideal house track for endless summers, best experienced dancing on a beach with a mojito spilling from your hand. The propulsive percussion is balanced by subtle vocals, extended atmospheric washes and tides of melody that ebb and flow. And a sprig of mint leaf and a twist of lime. The track’s uplifting vibe stays with you long after the track’s eight minutes end, much like the sand lingering in your crotch! Next, Cazzola & Titta offer “Memento”, whose clattering rhythm and funky loops are reminiscent of the Dance Mania label’s better moments. And to find a balance between the first track’s smoothness and the second track’s chaos, the duo closes out the EP with “Waiting for Xing Wang”, built around an angelic choir of “ooh”s and space-invader sound effects. While Cazzola & Titta might not know their destination, it’s clear that they are off to a solid start with these wild studio concoctions!

Another addition to our release schedule
by Michal Ho & Marco Riederer
TFBR024 Let me Up E.p, including a remix by Marcus Vector

Michal Ho is back with a collaboration with his friend Marco Riederer owner of a commercial recording studio and producer.
"Let Me Up" originated as a sketch from Marco and in a nice teamwork with Michal it grown into a snarling, horny electrobeast!
The Zurich-based producer Michal has built up a name for himself with his elegant, dynamic and (above all) ass-shaking house tracks, having released on labels like TuningSpork and Kindish, and bringing his live set to respected clubs like London's Fabric and Berlin's Watergate.
His recognizable funk led to remix requests from such names as Alland Byallo, Someone Else and Anthea & Celler, with "Let Me Up", however, we find Michal trying out a new style, Now wielding heavy leather boots, an astronaut helmet and a hot pink lightsaber!!!

Michal first appeared on Toys For Boys back in 2008 with his remix for Marcus Vector & Lust Addict. Now Mr. Vector returns the favor with his version of “Let Me Up”. While Michal’s original was built around a thick, groovy fuzz, Marcus brings the track into deeper, murkier, dub-infused house realms. This mix is already being played and charted by DJs Swamp Thing and Creature From The Black Lagoon. Don’t miss out on this blockbuster!!

Another addition to our release schedule
by Fernando Daxta
TFBR023 Entre Gachos y Gandayas E.p:

Fernando Daxta is one of the newer faces of “world electronic” music, and no, that doesn’t mean tacky “ethnic” vocal samples or sitar solos.
In Fernando’s sense, “world” means taking his experience growing up in Spain, living in South America, and now based in Belgium, to create a sophisticated, cosmopolitan sound.
Following his string of releases on his own label Sirius Pandi (which received support from Josh Wink, Troy Pierce and Alexi Delano among others), Señr Daxta now teams up with his fellow Brussells residents from the Toys For Boys crew for the Entre Gachos y Gandayas EP
Already loved by Shinedoe, Angel Molina, Varoslav, Someone Else, John Selway, Richie Hawtin, Bloody Mary

Another addition to our release schedule
by Alessio Mereu & Matteo Spedicati
TFBR022 Laws of Attraction E.p:
(available on digital now)
Toys For Boys is pleased to announce the first collaboration between Alessio Mereu and Matteo Spedicati, two on-the-rise producers out of the Italian island Sardinia. The Laws of Attraction EP comprises four tracks that use customary house signifiers (organic percussion, expressive female vocal outbursts), but by processing them with a tasteful amount production and effects, Alessio and Matteo have concocted an impressively fresh, polished, techno-leaning sound.

New DiY release Out Now on TuningSpork:::

TuningSpork 052 House Tools Vol.02 feat, dOP, Big Bully, Markus Fix
available now on digital and vinyl
Marcus Vector & Sierra_Sam recently released their first joint effort for Contexterrior and TuningSpork. Working together once again, this time around they’ve put aside their usual dark techno inclinations, opting instead for uninhibited house led by analog percussion sounds. Drumroll, please… Their tracks are the perfect tools to use where the sun don’t shine. (That would be the nightclub, you pervert!)

The House Tool Vol. 2 with collaborations with their comrades. First track with dOP (Circus Company, Eklo, Supplement Facts). “Kilimanjaro” features D.I.Y.’s tribal bounce combined with dOP’s seedy, Trent Reznor-on-opiates vocal delivery. The flipside has two versions of “Suck my Caulk”: D.I.Y.’s original elevates the level of melody and sunshine, while Markus Fix (Cécille) offers his own interpretation, bringing the track down into deep house territory. Placed in the right hands, these tools can do some serious dancefloor damage!

TFBR 020 by Grinser, including a remix by Marcus Vector
release date: 15/06/2009

Berlin’s Michelle Grinser returns with two more immaculate productions of deep, multilayered house, shimmering with detail and a sense of liberation. Following his solo EPs on Alphahouse and Junion – not to mention his roles in Dakar & Grinser (Disko B) and Grom (Ladomat 2000) – Grinser again joins Toys For Boys for further audio explorations.
The EP’s title, Looping Music, might imply simplicity and monotony, but these tracks are quite the opposite…
